A trip for the lovers of the adventure. Extensive routes between the vast
Puna and the mountain range of the Andes, arriving at the more inhospitable
landscapes never imagined. Volcanos, salares, dunes, lagoons of height, vicunas,
flames, great mountains and small towns scattered in the immensity.
Program
First day. San Miguel de Tucumán.
Reception in the Airport of the City of San Miguel de Tucumán. Lodging
in Hotel Garden Pak. Supper of welcome.
Second day. S.M. de Tucumán - Cachí.
Route by spectacular cañadón of the Tala river, finishing next
to the Great Pampas. From there we follow to Guachitas and then, by going
over the Hill of the Bishop, we will arrive to Cachi, one of the more important
towns of the Calchaquíes Valleys. Hotel Cachí.
Third day. Cachí - Cafayate.
We will use all this day to cross the more traditional places of the Calchaquíes
Valleys: the looms of Seclantés, church, the realistic house of Mills
and the vineyards of height of Colomé. Passing the Gorge of the Arrows,
finally we will arrive at Cafayate. Farm The Rose
Fourth day. Cafayate - Belén.
Route by the South end of the Calchaquíes Valleys,
visiting the Ruins of Quilmes and arriving at the town of Belén.
Fifth día. Belén - Antofagasta de la Sierra.
We will begin the entrance to the Puna, ascending by the hills of Indalecio
and Randolfo. Passage next to the White lagoon, where they inhabit flamenco
pink and vicunas.
After passing the small pueblito El Peñon, we will begin a route off-road
towards the surprising Field Pomez Stone, that will culminate with the return
towards Antofagasta. Hotel Antofagasta.
Sixth day. Antofagasta de la Sierra - Galán Volcano- Antofagasta
de la Sierra.
Route towards the biggest volcano crater (45 km of diameter), ascending until
the 4700 meters next to an incredible geologic formation, small lost lagoons
in immensity and rivers that finish in great salares. A day to everything
off-road. Hotel Antofagasta.
Seventh day. Antofagasta de la Sierra - San Antonio de los Cobres.
We will initiate the trip towards San Antonio of Cobres. In those many kilometers
we will have to cross salares and extensive plains leaving to ours step rural
schools and almost uninhabited small villages. The passage by Santa Rosa of
the Great Grass indicated the proximity to our destiny at which we will arrive
transposing Abra del Gallo. Hotel de las Nubes.
Eighth day. San Antonio de los Cobres - Susques.
Taking the morning as rest, we eat for lunch and we begin our trip by the
Viaduct of the Polvorilla towards Susques, a very interesting route next to
thermal wells, great volcanos and lost pueblitos. Hotel El Unquillar.
Nineth day. Susques - Casabindo - Humahuaca.
Route towards the mystical town of Casabindo, last in its salary with a bullring
and in which traditional festings are made annually. Leaving behind this place,
we will travel to Opens Pampas, important point of commerce for the market
of the region. Retaking towards the South, our destiny will be the city of
Humahuaca, where we will be able to enjoy its customs, streets and bars. Hostería

Tenth day. Humahuaca - Salta.
We will descend by the Gorge of Humahuaca visiting some of its typical towns
like Tilcara and Purmamarca, soon to follow our trip towards the city of La
Salta.

1. From Antofagasta de la Sierra, instead of goind directly to San Antonio
de los Cobres, a journey to Tolar Grande by the Salar de Antofalla can be
made. Then San Antonio de los Cobres. One day extra.
2. From Humahuaca, roundtrip to Iruya. One (better two) day extra.
