Program
First day. San Luis – San Francisco of Monte de Oro.
Reception in the Airport of San Luis. Route by the Mountain range of San Luis. Lunch. We continued towards San Francisco of Monte de Oro. Lodging in hotel and has supper.
Second day. San F. of Monte De Oro – San Agustín del Valle Fértil.
An old track guide us to the National Park "Sierra de las Quijadas". Trekking to know the park. Lunch. Soon we will continue our trip to the North, by desert ways arriving at San Agustín of the Fertile Valley. Lodging in hotel and has supper.Third day. San Agustín del Valle Fértil – Villa Unión.
We will initiate our trip towards "Prehistoria", by going to the Valley of the Moon (Natural Park Provincial Ischigualasto and National Reservation), a site in which the nature allows to even see the old structure of our planet in some signs of its primitive inhabitants. Lunch. In afternoon we will accede to another fascinating place, the Canon of Talampaya, whose geography eroded by wind and water shows interesting geologic formation. Also we will be able to observe rest of rock art. We will complete our trip arriving to Villa Unión. Lodging in hotel and has supper.Fourth day. Laguna Brava.
Today we will ascend to the South of the Puna, a region located over the 3.000 meters and that extends until Bolivia. We will arrive to the Brave Lagoon at 4.270 meters, a salty lagoon with water in which lot of pink flamencos arrive during their migration to the south. Lunch. In the return to Villa Union we will take advantage to observe the Gorge of Troy and an unlimited number of secrets that lodge in its environs. Lodging and supper.Fifth day. Villa Unión – Barreal.
Our itinerary
changes the course towards the South, returning to the province of San Juan
and beginning a new route to the foot of the Mountain range of the Andes. Lunch.
The landscapes will appear one after another one and towards the night we will
stop our march in the colorful Valley of Calingasta, to rest and to enjoy one
"mountain" night. Lodgning and dinner.
Sixth day. Barreal – Bridge of the Inca.
The morning will surprise us with a spectacular dawn and after having breakfast we will travel to the Barreal of Leoncito. Lunch. We will soon cross a vast desert zone until Uspallata and from there, overcoming the Mendoza river, we will introduce ourselves in the mountain range to arrive at the Bridge of the Inca, where we will be able to lodge in its warm hotel and to taste a rich supper.Seventh day. Bridge of the Inca - Tunuyan.
We will begin the day traveling to The Caves, the last argentinean town before entering Chile. If the weather allows us, we will ascend the Christ Redentor. Lunch. Retaking our route, we will do mini-trekking until the Horcones Lagoon from where we will be able to observe the Aconcagua Mountain, the highest mountain of America (6.959 meters). Continuing next to the Mendoza river, we will accede to the zone of vineyards and consequently to visit a traditional wine warehouse. The day end will allow us to lodge us in a hotel with proviliged location in a gorge, keeping us safe from the mountain range. Supper.Eight day. Tunuyan - Mendoza.
This last day will lead us to an unimaginable, hidden site after the great mountains, which lodges a landscape that is worth the effort to get to know it: the Lagoon Diamond, located in front of Chile and on the foot of Maipo volcano. Lunch. We finalized acceding to the City of Mendoza. Supper of goodbye and lodging in hotel.Characteristics.
